Berlin Amplifier & Cabinet

  amp-cab

What you see is the result of long months of work and Duesenberg engineering. The frame of this amp is made from wood which we then painted with a thin layer of metal particles. The metal coat is then processed and aged by hand, giving it the distinctive rusty patina which makes each build completely unique.
Inside, there is one 12AX7 and one 7025 High Grade combined with 2 6L6WGC power amp tubes pushing all the raw tone straight to the speaker. We started with a clean channel and ended up with a great, bright and dynamic tone with straight forward Treble, Mid, Bass and Volume controls.
The internal Boost Section allows you to extend the clean channel. It boosts your clean signal without changing the overall texture of your tone. Additionally, the Boost Section can be fine tuned with Gain, Level and Contour controls. The boost can be engaged by either using the switch on the front panel, or by using the included footpedal. You can choose if you want the overall boost to be “Hi” or “Low” by preselecting the level at the back of the amp but you can of course fine tune your decision with the gain control.
Of course you also get a passive serial effects loop, all the outputs you need (4/8/16 Ohm), a jack to plug in the included footpedal for your boost channel and a high quality Custom Duesenberg Softcover for both the amp and the cabinet.
Handwired in Germany.

The cabinet is made from lightweight multi-ply birch and is painted and processed the same way as the amp itself. It has a semi open back and houses a Celestion Alnico Gold 8 Ohm Speaker with 50W power handling.

Wow, if that thing sounds half as good as it looks it’ll be a sell-out!!!
Would go really well with my Starplayer TV. How many are you guys planning to produce and are any of them planned to come to Australia?

      Hi Oliver,
we did not plan to do this as a limited run so as long as there is demand for it, we will probably keep on making it. You should contact our Australian distributor for any info for availability in your country: http://www.themusicconnection.com.au/

wie sieht’s denn jetzt mal aus mit Preisen für die Sahnestückchen? Würden gut zu meiner 59er passen…

    Hi !
    Cheers from France…
I have nothing to ask about this amp. I just want people who reads us to understand that each time Duesenberg do something.. they do it really Nice.
I own : Violin Bass, Starplayer Bass Sunburn with flat wound, Starplayer Bass 2 with Round wound, D bass 4 Lake Placid Blue, Starplayer Special Orange, Starplayer TV Ice Pearl (Waooow !) Pedals: Blue Comp, Boost,Treble B, The Rev, Blue Move, Red Echo, Violet Trem, White Drive, Chanel 2 …
    and….
The Doozy one that I just bought … (Used one of course..)
So, I cannot say anything bad about any of every items I bought…
And if the Berlin Amp is a positive evolution of the former generation Doozy Amps… So .. I bet it may be great.
Maybe should I not have money enough to buy the Berlin..
But.. no way, keeping my Doozy one… is not a punishment …
    SO… TRUST DUESENBERG as I do…

Amis français… je vous le dis.. Faites confiance à Duesenberg !

Yes I agree I video/demo of the amp would be lovely. Looks like a stunner but would be lovely to hear it. I’d love to hear my Mike Campbell II through one. All the best D

      Hi Ron,
      thanks for your comment.
THE BERLIN was just shipped to the first dealers, so I guess you will start to find demos online shortly.
We will consider your suggestion of an “official demo”.
      Cheers,
      Andrej
